i don't even know how many days i've been out from school. all i know is that they've been some of the best i've had all year.
i've loved every bit of this summer.
i love the fact that marge and i drove to her grandmother's yuppie condo and went in the pool, the beach, and in the hot tub all within 2 and a half hours. we ate bagels beforehand and then spent 30 minutes getting there, but it was all worth it. maybe we just weren't in some huge secret, but no one was in the water anywhere we went. people just layed outside of the pool, which was fine by me. after all, we got the waterfalls all to ourselves. and then at the beach, no one was in the water either, which was fine by me. after all, we got the waves all to ourselves.
i love the fact that i (motherfuckin'!) ( graduated ) yesterday. i sat by sarah wooten, and frankly, i wouldn't have been as excited about it if she wasn't squealing the entire time. ( david (motherfuckin') anderson )grinned at me and cheered the entire time i was going up on stage. he really is the most precious boy in the entire world. he gave me a big ole (motherfuckin') kiss on the cheek afterwards, and it was pretty perfect.
i love the fact that i finally got to eat sushi after graduation night. my mom finally ate something at horizen that she liked, so maybe it'll be easier for us to go there as a family now.
i love the fact that i have the absolute greatest boyfriend in the world. and i'm not saying that because he did something overtly romantic like buy me flowers or chocolates. i'm saying that because he went completely out of the way to make sure that i got to project gradutation. it's such a long story, but just know that i love him and that he's amazing. he is.
i love the fact that project graduation was so abso-fuckin'-lutely fantastic. slamming my go-kart into jarryd and melea's go-karts was pretty much the best way to end my high school career. and really, who could forget seeing ROY JONES JR!!?!!?! i mean, besides everyone possible. his twin sons and their cousin rapped for us. they're called "boys will be boys" and i'm pretty sure marge has a poster of them if anyone's interested. no? alright then. i'm glad TEAM ANDY pwned at lazer tag, because it was really just a game made by the heavens. seeing chelsea and lesley hypnotized AND SINGING (!!!) really made my night, and now i'm kind of regretting that i didn't do it. we finally got back home around 6 in the AM, and i slept until 3pm. there goes any normal sleeping pattern for the rest of the summer.
i love the fact that team skrilla owns at beach let's-just-get-the-ball-over-the-net. a bunch of people went to lacey's beach house to ( celebrate graduation, )which was where i played my first game of "volleyball." the game of the ( skrillas versus the throw-em-ups )was pretty heavy for awhile, but ultimately we skrilla-danced our way to victory! the night ended with a (kind of?) rousing game of truth or dare and kristina's sarcasm (I KNOW!).
so now i'm home. i can't sleep and i still love it. so much.

i need to write this down before i get swamped with humidity and sadness and homework:
-i'm in love with my best friend
-i can count my true, good friends on one hand, and i love it like that
-i can honestly say that i've learned something from every single person reading this
-i'm not racist, but i still don't believe in the term african-american for most of the black population
-it doesn't matter where i go to college. it doesn't matter for you either.
-i'm so fucking glad i didn't go to IB
-ludacris had it right when he said "20 inch thighs make 20 inch eyes," because it's so, so true.
-no one in real life is going to ask for my high school transcript.
-we ARE going to win mock trial this year. i hope you realize this.
-i have no clue what i want to do with my life, and i love it
-i don't care if i don't get into college this year

dear 3+ guys in crappy cars,

you know, i could talk about all the wretched things that are happening in my life (which you ALL know i'm prone to do), but i've decided against that. i'm not going to tell you how it took me all summer to get the preliminary shit out of the way so that i could volunteer at the hospital. i'm DEFINITELY not going to tell you that i've only been to the beach about 2-3 times during the course of the summer. i'm not going to complain that i just sat on my ass and DIDN't do my summer reading/writing for english...
so instead, let's talk about the positive things in my life.
- alexvanderweert moved back into town and my life is MUCH better (mostly because that guy follows him around instead of me now. thank god!)
- cheesy gordita crunches came back to taco bell
- my senior portraits are hawt
- i don't have to work AND i get $140 a month
- i'm going out to dinner tomorrow with rachel and leah
- i think i can write 2/3 of my essays just from my semi-knowledge of the books
- my cat has a snaggletooth
- my boyfriend's a hottie and will get me into the movies for free
hmm...
yep
that's about it.
